(occ Just so you know Akebono is more in shape then Honoo she always was, and I will post with Avaron when you go back for her.) Seeing Nami leave I raced after her calling her name. "Nami wait for me!" I called out as I heard Akebono behind me. I watched as Akebono started running so fast she pasted me and Nami. Wow she is more in shape then me! I thought as I saw her gaining on the wolf. I saw the wolf change and run away. He was fast but I was very fast. I was the fastest runner in my pack. I flexed my muscleur legs and ran after him. I run past Honoo and past Nami and I was gaining on the wolf. I ignored the burning of breath in my lungs and the grawing black hole of hungry in my tummy. I cried out, "Wait!" To the strange wolf as I continuted to follow him.

Phantom I looked back and saw them gaining on me. I might have been thrilled that they still wanted to be near me - but probably only because they wanted to kill me, so as not to endanger other manens. Even if not, I didn't want to hurt them. I concentrated, jumped - Into the ground.

<Wait did he go into the ground or not?>
I blinked as Akebono ran past me. Boy she was fast! But still I pushed my aching legs to race just a little faster, I had to catch up! Wait! What is your name? We don't want to hurt you! He probably thought we were after him. But we weren't. We wanted to help. But he didn't know that. So we had to tell him. But just as we started to catch up, he disappeared. Into the ground?

I forced myself to hurry up and I nearly thudded into Nami. I swerved at the last second and was about to ask what she was doing but I saw the wolf disappear into the ground. I opened my mouth in shock and said, "What the heck is happening?" I was nearly had him and then he stopped as I reached out my mouth to grab him he disappeared. I fall and smacked my mouth hard against the ground. Tears watered in my eyes as I looked at the ground. "Come back!" I cried as I tried to dig to find him. "We don't want to hurt you we want to help! We will all keep following you until you let us help!"

+ooc: Yes, he is underground. I'll say it when he comes out - but he won't in this post.+
Phantom I pressed my ears against my skull, ignoring their anguished calls. If they really knew me, they wouldn't want me back. I continued to step through - underneath - the solid ground, soundless, already almost a quarter of a mile away. I was glad that this didn't too much energy, even if I knew I would have to become solid again eventually. The one thing I'd forgotten was that I wasn't scentless, even if the scent was very faint. I had to get further away before I couldn't stop it from coming out again!

<sorry for the delay>
I stood there rooted to the spot, Did I just see what I thought I saw? I said my mouth hanging like it was missing the screw that kept it closed. Could this day get any weirder? Then my senses came racing back, I shook my head and cleared my thoughts. How're we supposed to get him? We obviously can't dig that far. I had given up. What where we to do?

Phantom I padded along quietly, already almost out of hearing range of their cries. For a moment I was tempted to go back, but... They can't do anything to help. I don't want to hurt them. What else is there to do? My ears twitched as a mouse leaped overhead, above the ground, and I snatched it, hungry. My muzzle was visible, but only for a short time - I doubted they would notice, and I needed to keep going. +ooc: Let's wait for xiao.+

I thought I smelt something other then the earth so I tried to follow it but I could not. I was tempted to turn back but soon I looked and saw Akebono running to something. "Akebono what is it?" I cried as I saw her chase after it. After I heard her say what she said I looked at her and barked, "Are you mad?!" but she kept at me until I saw her point. I was sniffing the earth and I caught a faint whiff of a wolf. I followed it until I barely saw the tip of a black muzzle. I yelped in surpise and run to the area I saw it in. Soon I saw Honoo running toward me and I knew I had to convince him to leave. "Honoo you and Nami should find Avaron and stay with her. I will follow this wolf and try to help. If there are too many of us he will be less likely to show himself. So go on back I will be fine." I flashed a toothy grin as I ran after the phatom wolf.

I nodded, Akebono was right. There was too many of us, he was frightened. But I didn't want to leave. I wanted to help! But wasn't it a bit dangerous, I mean he didn't seem evil. But I remembered his blood red eyes and insane look. What if he went mad again? What would happen to Akebono? Though I didn't stand a chance, she was going to make us leave if we didn't. I laughed inside, she would have it her way whether we liked it or not. We might as well go Honoo. Avaron must be downright furious for us leaving her alone. And without waiting for his reply I slowly trotted back to where we left Avaron.

Phantom I heard the others decide to leave, but one was going to keep following me - a problem. I sprang onto my hind legs and then forward, a constant patter of back legs front legs back legs front legs back legs front legs - I didn't know why I did this - running, I mean. I didn't really have to, underground. It was probably just a very strong habit - normal manens did not leave the ground for long, unless they had wings, so I had gotten used to walking. Until that day I - I still missed the light jangle of the golden bracelet. But of course, as one like this, I wouldn't have one anymore... Walking underground was normally peaceful. Calm - And it left no sound, being formless, which I was glad for. Just a oh-so-faint trail of scent... With luck, Akebono would miss it. I would get far enough, and hopefully I'd find a manen-free place to live. Possibly for eternity. But I was beginning to regret ever coming out to see those manens. Not really my fault - that was attracted to misery - but I did not need a group of manens chasing me until they died. Or until they gave up - I had a feeling, though, that the first was more likely.

(occ sorry computer crash <.< nothing was lost thank god and it is better now.) I nodded to Nami's statment and we left for Avaron. I looked back at Akebono but she was running after this manen. I hoped she found him. So I saw Avaron and she looked surpised to see us. "What are you too doing back so soon, and where on earth is Akebono?" I got up slowly and walked over to him and Nami and sat down close to them to hear everything. I could smell something just barely that smelled like manen. It was moving so I moved with it. I could run for miles as I had endurence. "You can come out whenever you want I will just keep following you until a) you have to come out b) you get to tired to run or last option c) I die."

I, slowly sat down next to Avaron and started to explain everything that had happened so far. And so now Akebono is trying to find him while she sent us to go get you and stay with you. I ended at that, too tired to continue, even though there wasn't anymore.

+ooc: Sorry I've been gone kind of long. School, and then other stuff... Yami, I'll update 'Not Alone' tomorrow, alright?+
Phantom I groaned. If this persisted, I might have to take a journey through the center of the Earth. Not as interesting as it sounded - I'd done it once before. It was dark, and hot, and, although there weren't often sounds, when there were, they were loud and irritating to my sensitive wolf ears. I could also go far enough underground that the scent faded, but again, dark, and hot. Not as bad, but very uncomfortable. I'd just have to keep going until I found a place she couldn't follow me across. Maybe the ocean? It was pretty close. Deciding, I padded onwards.

(Occ if you have not guessed by now once Akebono gets a hold of your scent she never forgets it. No it is not a speciel abilty she has. She was born with a extra good sniffer and memory) I looked off into space as I thought about Akebono. Knowing her she would follow that manen anywhere he went. If he crossed the ocean Akebono whould swim until she drowned, but she knew how to swim so she would swim for awhile. I nodded as I listened to Nami's story and I said, "Akebono will follow that manen where ever he goes. She will cross the ocean or anywhere until she can get him to come out." I smelled the manen going toward the ocean and I said, "You know I have your scent and I will always remember it! I will be crossing this ocean with you and I will follow you forever!" I shouted it as I smelled the sea. I shivered as I put my leg in the water and I jumped in to follow the manen.
