I look at Nami as I heard her choice of words and I said, "If something happened to you and my other sisters I don't think I can ever forgive myself." As my back was turned I didn't hear my sister until I felt teeth sink into my side slashing it. Crimsom blood was everywhere and I looked at my sister as she smiled an evil smile. Seeing her neck exposed I bit into it tearing her juglar vein. I watched as her lifeless body fell down I heard the howl that Amaterasu emitied before she fell over. I looked at her and said to Nami, "What have I done?"

I saw as he let his guard down and I smirked at the other manen. They were looking at each other and then I striked bearing my sharp fangs into Honoo's side. I felt like I had won little did I think I didn't kill him. Then he had killed me. I had howled in terror and as I fell I had though I never knew I would die like this.

I had watched as Amaterasu died and I could not stop the wimper of terror that came from my muzzle. I looked in horror at Honoo and saw how shocked and terrified he was. I didn't know what to do so I just stayed where I was.

[Teri]

Noo! What had he done? Was it the right thing? Maybe, but was it really? Maybe. It's okay Honoo, it was for the best. She wouldn't change, it was her fate. I hoped my fatal words where true.

If the wolves now looked behind them, they would see another - a wolf with glowing green eyes on a dark black pelt - a dark black pelt with white paws, and a swathe of white around his belly, another around his neck.
He had been watching them.

He stepped out quietly, knowing that the others would probably think that he was an excellent hunter - very sneaky, very quiet. While that was also the case, that wasn't quite the thing that he had done to get so close...
He had seen what had occured.[/i]
He stepped closer to the fallen wolf, looking down on what seemed a menacing, mad face, even in death. He ignored his surroundings, knowing that the others would probably be startled - he had, seemingly, appeared from nowhere.
And he had come to pay his respects.[/i]
Under his breath, he growled at himself. "I hope I never become that," he said, in such a low voice that only a wolf with very sensitive ears would be able to hear him, and only from nearby.[/center]

I was to broken inside to notice the other manen. I looked at my dead sister and said, "I'm a monster." I looked at Nami and my eyes were glazed over and devoid of feeling. "I killed her." I whispered as the truth had hit me hard. I looked at Nami and said, "I should die for what I did. Look after my sisters." I started walking toward the river and then I heard a harsh howl full of raw pain. It was so sad that it shocked me and I looked over to see Akebono the gentlest of us as she continuted to howl.

It hurt so much to see my sister in her mad fenzy and to see my broken brother. My brother who had been so strong so fearless. It killed me so much and it hurt so much I felt like I was dieing. When Honoo looked like he would die that had done it. I just could not stand it any more. So I had cried my bitter song with the tears flowing down my face. "What happened to us?" I sobbed. "What happened?"

[Teri]

-'Phantom'-

I looked up, my ears back.
"Shades of gray. There is nothing fully good, or fully bad, only shades of gray. Some things are a darker gray -"
I stopped, then continued under my breath.
"- and this is definitely one of them."
I glanced at them, my eyes filled with pity, but decided it was going to be stretching it to be near them for much longer. I was already stretching my limits as it was.

It was heart braking to see him like this. It was going to kill me, No! I'm not looking after her! YOU are! With that I tackled him and pined him to the ground. Listen to yourself, it's like last time I said as he struggled underneath my weight. Your not a monster, you did what you had to. She would have killed us all, think of yourself as a hero, not the villain. You don't have to die Tears where now steaming down my face, I couldn't loose him, not now. I couldn't take care of two others, I could just barely take care of myself. I need you I whimpered, Don't go. I just then realized another looking at the dead monster. I jumped up and growled cruelly at the black pelted one, Who are you? Go away!

[Teri]

I stared back at the female wolf, looking, unblinking, into her eyes.
"I am Phantom."
I paused and suppressed a menacing laugh. Great - already!
"I suppose I had better go."

-'back to 3rd person'-

Without hesitating, the wolf just - disappeared.

[Xiao]

I looked where the black pelted one was with awe. I flinched as Nami cried over me. I had thought that only familoy can care about each other. I hurt me seeing her cry but I couldn't get over what I did so I said, "I'm evil Nami my heart is black and twisted. I killed two of my sisters and I lived to kill. You should leave me before I rub off on you.

I looked at Honoo and grolwed at him with hatred in my voice. I got up shakingly and walked away from them. I looked at Honoo with sadness all over my face and said to Nami with regret heavy in my voice, "I can't help him only you can. I will let you talk to him because only you can turn him around."

[Teri]

A voice echoed from above - and, if the wolves had looked around, they would have seen green... sound waves? What were they?
"Shades of gray..."

+ooc: This is the only way I could think of joining in without bringing my character completely back - which wouldn't really make sense with what's going on. Bleh.+

{I still can't guess what his ability is....}

I flinched at his words. I nodded to Akebon, I will try my best I whispered to myself. To Honoo I spoke, You can't get rid of me Honoo, I will follow you forever, even if it is to my death. You can't push me away, I will follow. You did what you had to and I don't believe, I wont believe your evil. You can't convince me Honoo, I'm stubborn, you will find out, I'm not going.
Then I heard a voice, I looked around. I couldn't find the strange one. He was gone, had disappeared. Was I loosing my mind? What did he mean, shades of gray? Where are you? Why don't you come out?

[Xiao]

I looked at Nami and knew that even though it hurt I had to stop beating myself up. "Ok." I whispered to her. When I heard the strange one I too thought I was going crazy I look at Akebono and she looks like she heard too.

So I guess the strange one had not left. I wondered what he meant and I looked over at Honoo and saw that he finally stopped beating himself up. He would never forget what he did, but he would stop himself from hateing himself. I smiled and looked at Nami and thought do I see something else in her eyes. No I thought I must be mistaken.

I cocked my head, Akebon looked at me in a strange way. Why? What was it?
Great. I said to Honoo. It was good that he was going to stop torturing himself for something that he didn't have to. I couldn't bear to see him all sad and beaten up. He couldn't live like that, no one could.
But the voice, where was it coming from? Where are you! I called out. Where was it hiding?

+ooc: Phantom has left, this is just an aspect of his 'ability'. And I'm trying to make it hard to figure out, so I don't blame you for guessing wrong.
It has to do with his name.
...I think that was too much of a hint.

Anyways, Phantom ill come back soon, he just needs to - *muttermutter* - that. Yes. It has to do with a side effect of his ability. Don't bother trying to guess that one - I think it's impossible.+
